Le Groupe Val : pioneers in forest contract management in the Saguenay-Lac-St-Jean region

Groupe Val is a general forestry contractor specializing in forestry contract management. The company was founded in 1972 by Mr. Paul-Émile Morin, through the acquisition of a fleet of equipment (Équipement V.A.L. Ltée). Since then, the Morin family (Jean, Louise) and Mario Pelletier have imbued the company with their hard work and energy for almost 30 years. The company now focuses on harvesting contract management under the Groupe Val name (2006). Stéphane Roux, Sébastien Dufour, Frédéric Bonneau and now Christophe Tremblay continue the story.

To carry out its activities, Groupe Val mobilizes nearly one hundred and fifty employees to manage harvesting contracts of around 500,000 m3 per year. Most of our activity takes place near the Saguenay-Lac-St-Jean region, in Hébertville and Roberval.

Our administrative offices are located in Saint-Prime, where we offer a pleasant working environment and competitive working conditions.
